With dasvandh, do you deduct it from gross or net pay. If you deduct from take home pay, then is it 10% from your net pay after taking out rent, mortgage, bills etc?

Well i've got this urge of doing paat! - i wanna do it and feel like doing it to refresh the mind and get closer to God. I eat meat/fish (whenever), me and my family buy meat/fish and we have acohol in the house. I wanna try and set days of consuming meat/fish, i do wanna (in time) stop eating meat..fish maybe. Anywho, we have Gutkeh in our house in the top room, we cleaned our house and moved things.. and we had acohol in that room and we moved it in my room ( we had a wedding! ) And in the back of my mind it sprung to me that when i do Kirtan Sohila ( you do it just before u go sleep, in bed ) that i have acohol in my room. I just have afew questions that I would like your help and thoughts on, as I have been thinking alot about life lately and on this aspect. I believe/think that in terms of marriage your sanjog is already. My background and story is complicated and so I will try to explain it in as much detail as possible in hopes that someone can help me. Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh Just want to know if anyone in sangat have experience of 125000 moolmantar jaaps ? Anyone gained sachepatshah jis kirpa after it or any experience if any, plz share with sangat. Although we should do 125000 in 40 days recommended by many saints, 32,33 maalas a day but I have started only 16 malas a day, hoping to complete in 75 days with guru sahibs kirpa. Take about 12 mins for one maala and all my focus remains in changing the bead of maala, As we have to shift beads so isnt it difficult to focus on moolmantar ? If HUMAN BEINGS could show us how to be perfect sikhs then Guru Gobind Singh ji wouldn't have ended the line of human Gurus and passed gurgaddi over to Guru Granth Sahib Ji . Remember that Guru Nanak Dev Ji predicted we were only one of thousands of universes hundreds of years before science discovered this. The Gurus were capable of predicting the future; if they wanted us following one select human in the future they would have predicted them and told us who to follow. Don't call me a fake sikh loooool. Cos you know what "Sikhs" who follow humans like YOU do are called? Namdharis. Sikhs only answer to the 11 Gurus and Waheguru ji. Nobody else. That's part of why Sikhi is so beautiful, the simplicity. We can ACKNOWLEDGE what other people say but not when it contradicts the orders or nature of our Gurus (in this case, using the most modern & effective martial arts/ weapons like they did instead of blindly trying to preserve history, then thinking a 300 year old martial art would still be effective today). If Sikhi was abt preserving history rather than practicality, then Guru Ji could've given us a caveman club instead of a kirpan/2 foot long sword. But then we go into the whole "is a gun a kirpan" argument... -

If your sword or weapons broke. What would you do? Grappling etc. wrestling etc. Unarmed combat is known as "platha"
