  3. Guru Nanak did not write Japji Sahib. The sangat asked for a morning bani so he told Guru Angad to combin his bani and make it and when Guru ji was happy he approved it and made it Japji Sahib. I also believe the Salok was added later as it was wrriten by Guru Angad Dev Ji.

More pacificaly Ram avtar and Krishna avtar. Also Gobind Gita should be read. All Sikhs should also read and study Chanaka Raajneeti Sarkutavali Bhavrasamrit Vichar Mala Vairag Shatak Parbodh Chandar Natak Adhiatam Parkash Birti Parbhakar Vichar Sagar I have just ordered Sarkuntavali English tika translated by Giani Kamalpreet Singh Ji. 8. Yh, a lot of the corrupt policemen were from Sikh backgrounds. Have you heard about ghotna? His sister lives on the road next to ours. She came to the UK back when they used to come in those ships. He was from the Jalandhar area. He got the name ghotna because of the torture tools he used, one of them being a huge wooden roller, ghotna. He used that to crush the knees of the Singhs. He used to come to the UK when he retired, to visit his sister. He used to wear hats, black shades, scarves etc try to disguise himself, so no one recognised him. When he died the hazoori raagis refused to attend his funeral. I never saw him because I was a kid back then but my dad and others talk about him coming to the UK.

  10. The last three months of 2020 (Oct 2020-mid Jan 2021) were great. I didn't watch crap on web, or use social medial. Only watched utube for satsang/bhagti videos. Nitnem was also good. But then just last week had a very strong lustful dream about past memories which disturbed me and then I ended up watching p and did hasta-maithuna. This disturbed my routine, was very lustful for 2-3days, and did watch p < 15 mins but no hasta maithuna. Things are back to normal again. What I learnt is its very important to divide your time into chunks/group. One chunk for morning nitnem, second for evening nitnem, one chunk for utube katha/bhagti, and one chunk for productive work/research on computer. Dont even watch normal movies, because even a hint of kaam will slowly erode away your defeneses. tbh I had in these last 3 months, lust didnt bother me at all, not even furne, but then suddentl a powerful dream ruined it all. But a positive thing is when you go on a long streak , even if you committ a mistake you still have the energy to keep going and take it fwd. also workout has been really lacking. So again , today is Jan 25, and my resolve is to only watch media for useful info/katha/bhagti or maybe updates on Kisan Morcha, and divide my time into productive blocks.

  14. Yes, I get that, bro. But if we're going off what's accepted as mainstream thought on their origins, regardless of whether it's actually true, they're currently considered to be what's popularly defined as Jews. Who knows, we may in the very distant future come to recognise some other race as the true Jews. There's one particular argument about which white anti-Semites get very angry and can't refute, is how - if we go along with the theory that Jews have infiltrated and subverted white nations - none of what Jews have achieved would be possible without white collaboration and white traitors selling out their own race. They have no answer for it, and they get very, very hostile when this argument is pointed out. They argue for white superiority on a genetic level expressed in IQ and general mental lucidity, but somehow they seem to be "tricked" into acting against their own by Jews. Doesn't sound too smart to me. Isolated cases of betrayal and deception I can buy, but wholesale subversion of entire nations for the past 300-400 years due to only Jewish tricks? Not a chance. It's white treachery and they can't acknowledge it, because it undermines their argument that they're the only race with honour and noble ideals that's above base notions of self interest of the few at the expense of the many. Anyway, I hope humanity can free itself from these desert religions of all shades. Any positive, civilising affect they've had is long gone. The rest of us are caught in the middle of their endless war, and it will prove to be fatal.

  15. Thank you for that. The way I heard it put was that even though Guru Nanak Dev Ji's message to creation didn't start with the content of Japji, which didn't come until he addressed the Sidhs? That Guru Nanak Dev Ji did want it to begin the teachings of the Guru Granth Sahib Ji, following only the Beej Mantra?

  23. This kind of stuff is enough to radicalise anyone. On one hand it's necessary to know exactly what they did to us and why, yet on the other hand it's important not to play into their hands of assuming the role THEY want to carve out for us and project to third parties so that they can continue their policies against us, i.e. dumb hotheads prone to violence who need to be dealt with using force. In a system where we have some semblance of power we might be able to get away with throwing our weight around, but currently we're looking at handouts from the very people that want us gone, and therefore we can't give them what they want in this regard.

Now I don't think that's a term strong enough to describe the malign influence this modern day Babylon has had over the earth for the previous 150 years or so. No hate for the people; most are as much victims of their leaders' evil than foreign populations of other lands, but the leadership at the top are despicable. Same for the likes of England, too. I'm reaching a point where my disgust for what I'm seeing everyday can't be concealed. I'm past the point of sticking to an air of decorum.

  26. British empire did the same all those years back. Projected themselves as the flag bearers of morality and justice, civilizing the brown "savages", When in realty they were blowing natives from cannons and dishonoring local women. Shipping back to the UK and the Western world romanticized images of empire. There are historical accounts of members of the East India Company dragging Bengali women onto the streets, stripping them naked and using torture devices on their breasts, yes, that's what the civilized White man, the law giver, did in foreign lands.

  34. 1. As far studying from nirmale goes there are couple of options a) you can try going to original bhindran at boparaie for vidya, they are upsamparda's of nirmale, at this point mehta does not have same capacity/calibre of gurmat vidya compare to bhindran based on understandable circumstances during dharam yudh morcha. b) you can also try going to sant jagjit singh ji harkhowale- saltunpur lodhi dera, there are rooms right across where students stays but be forewarned, students come and go, sant jagjit singh ji harkhowale are very very strict, out of 20 students, only 1 or 2 survive being in the dera because of very disciplined schedule. I was there back in 2010. I only saw about four young students left engaging in kirtan, gurmat vidya and there are other top students which stays with baba ji. The problem with punjab, any lazy kid who does not want to work, their families leave their kids at the dera where they think they can live comfortable life/eat langar without work or anything, and once they are tired of that kind of life style, they run away so because of that some of sikh samparda's dera are very strict to filter incompetent/lazy/ double dip type students, students have to proof themselves they are worthy of attaining vidya- don't expect learning from them right away- you going to have get up 2 am, do lot of seva/simran before they teach you stuff. c) you can also trying going to sant hari singh ji randhawale, apparently they have a school as well where they teach vidya. d) another option is directly from nirmale hq- nirmal panchayati akhara at patiala. e) you can learn vidya from gyani sher singh ji budda dal You may want to contact kam1825 member on this forum, he is best person to ask. 2. I think basic gurmukhi knowledge and punjabi linguistic knowledge, most of sanskrit stuff and steeks is already been translated to gurmukhi..so you should be fine if you have basic grasp of punjabi dialect..best person is to ask - kam1825 on this member regarding specific duration of course etc 3. Nine granths are there as pre-requisite according to taksal (please see kam1825 post) but it may vary from different samparda's depending on student area of focus.

  36. No they are taught before you start any gurbani, they are your foundation to understanding gurbani, they dont effect the arths but are the foundations fr it. They are your early schooling. It is the same as if you ever wanted to do a degree you need your years of schooling before to understand the details to something like astronominal aeronuticals or quantam gravity physics. The Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the most difficult of any granth as it is easy to read but the meanings are an endless ocean and without the necessary pre education you cant fully comprehend the teachings in either Gurbani or Ithaas.

  37. The nine granths are Chanaka Raajneeti Sarkutavali Bhavrasamrit Vichar Mala Vairag Shatak Parbodh Chandar Natak Adhiatam Parkash Birti Parbhakar Vichar Sagar These are only taught in Bhindra now all this vidiya has not existed at Mehta since Sant Jarnail Singh Ji stopped teching during the Dharam Yudh Morcha. Thse granths are needed as the basis to understand gurbani then further work can be done by learning the Vedant Paribhasha, Upnishads, Moksh Panth Parkash, Adhyatam Parkash, etc Only after these are studied should you start on the gazals of bhai nand lal and the works of Bhai Gurdas Ji. Giani Harbhajan Singh Ji Dhudhike Wale and Baba Hari Singh Ji Randhawe Wale are possibly the best ustaads at the moment for all these granths as many of the other ustaads have only worked up to vichar sagar and not even heard of the birti parbhakar.

  38. VaheGuru! The Nihang Fauj warned them first and told them to stop or shift to some place else and told them the reasons why not to sell there ... Shopkeepers didn't listen so justified action was taken... The Fauj standing up and showing their devout respect for our Holy Shrines and Guru Sahib Jee's Hukam ... That's Kirpa! The Fauj also took action against so-called committee members doing mega beadbee at a Gurdwara in Ropar earlier this year too ... Recognise, rate and be inspired by their Spirit!

  39. Sikhs have long campaigned for Sri Amritsar to be alcohol and tobacco free, yet there are shops selling such products just a stones throw away from Sri Darbar Sahib itself. Hence why the shop keepers were told to either stop selling tobacco or to relocate. What must tourists think when diriving to Harimandir Sahib, the holiest shrine of the Sikhs, when in the sorrounded area they are sorrounded by many alcohol shops and small stalls selling tobacco? Its not about forcing people to conform to your beliefs, its a matter of principle to work for the satkar of Guru Sahib and our holy shrines.

  41. *edited* udasi Samparda - Swami Ishwar Das Ji regarded the head of Taksal Samparda as Sant Giani Mohan Singh Ji while they were alive. Now Swami Shantinanad Ji and Swami Anantanand of the two respected Udasi Sampardas still regard Sant Mohan Singh Ji as the mukhi of Taksal Bhindra. Nirmala Sanparda - Nirmal Panth Bodh and Amrit Bachan Te Sant Darshan are two thesis on the Nirmal Panth. In both of the granths the true sucessor to Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji was Sant Giani Mohan Singh Ji Bhindrawalae. Sri Mahan tSant Sucha Singh Ji used to regards Sant Mohan Singh Ji as the mukhi of taksal whilst head of hte nirmalas and the current Sri Mahant, Gyandev Singh still regard Bhindra samparda and Sant Mohan Singh Ji as the Mukhi Sevapanthis - Sant Nischal Singh and Mahant Tirath Singh Ji both as heads of the Sewapanthis samparda regarded Sant Mohan Singh Ji as the mukhi of taksal whilst alive. The current head Mahant Kahan Singh also regard Sant Mohan Singh Ji as the head of taksal. Sant Surjeet Singh Ji Savapanthi who was the sucesssor of the Bhai Mani Singh Ji Samparda of taksal also regarded Sant Mohan Singh Ji as the Mukhi of the Baba Deep Singh Ji Taksal Samparda. Sant Gazhab Singh Ji who are the head of the Bhai Mani SIngh Ji Samparda also regard Sant Mohan Singh Ji as the sucessor. Nihangs - Now this is where it gets interesting. Baba Santa Singh Ji and Baba Hari Singh Ji of Baba Bakala Sahib both regarded Sant Mohan SIngh Ji as the head of the Samparda. The Bidhi Chand Samparda regarded Sant Kartar Singh Ji as the successor. Baba Joginder singh Ji regard Baba Harnam SIngh Ji as the head of the Samparda while Baba Balbir Singh Ji regards Baba Ram SIngh Ji as the head of the samparda. Many of the taksalis from old regard Sant Mohan Singh Ji as head of the samparda and the beacon of knowledge from this samparda. Examples as Sant Avtar Singh Ji Badni Kalan Walae, Sant Bhupinder Singh Ji Boparai Walae & Baba inderjeet Singh Ji Raqbe Walae. I am only stating what other view. My personal opinion differs but this is the view of the different sampardas before you start getting personal with me!

  44. Nice of Jassa to post pics of the self appointed 'jathedar' Dhumma. The Taksal has been started by Guru Gobind Singh Jee Maharaj and has been led by an unbroken lineage of Brahmgiani Maharapursh, Baba Harnam Singh Jee doesn't fall into that equation Real Mukhi is Sant Gyani Jarnail Singh Jee Khalsa Bhindranwale! Before people start questioning ''where are they then,'' they will return to lead the panth at the right time when Guru Sahib gives aagiyaa.

  45. Why everything has to be soo black and white? Why can't there be two successesors of one teacher in this case- baba mohan singh ji and baba kartar singh ji, after all they were students of the same teacher- bhramgyani 108 sant baba gurbachan singh ji bhindranwale. Take bhai dya singh samparda order for example- we had sants/jatehdars of same gyan avastha of same teacher. see below chart- under baba bir singh ji naurangabad, baba karam singh ji hoti mardan, there are multiple students and they both got same blessings and seva from their teacher, i fully acknowledge the fact two successesors cannot live in a same dera (just like how two babar sher cannot live in a same area quite naturally), that's why you will see teacher with multiple students recommend their students to spread out like a huge branch. Take - baba karam singh ji hoti mardan as for example, he had 100 bhramgyanis under his guidance, they were all successors of him equally with different designated seva, they have spread out but NOT *SPILT* like a branch in a huge tree. Sub branch within a branch is quite alright in a order(lineage). However, when within sub branch (in this case- mehta or bhindran), over zealous chelas from both sides start claiming that we are only - sub branch of sant baba gurbachan singh ji bhindranwale, that's where the problem is. This is truely work of over zealous chelas from both sides, and is not work of a senior mahapurkh sevadars. Senior mahapurkh sevadars including sant baba mohan singh ji and sant baba kartar singh ji bhindranwale would probably have nothing but respect towards each other because they have considered/acknowledged one another sub branch of damdami taksal and didn't claim supermacy of jathedari of taksal and had tolerance between each other. Taksal is just one example. This greedness, and over zealous chelas not restricted to taksal only but they exist in all the other big orders, samparda's. These soo called fanatic chelas of an mahapursh are sometimes very cause of downfall of any order started by our Guru Sahiban. Please be aware of them, don't make everything black and white. Learn to embrace other sub branches within branch. Benti to bhindran taksal, baba ram singh taksal, baba harnam singh ji taksal or mehta taksal lets not turn this "diversity"(sub branches) within branches of taksal into hostile division fight.
