Sirsa, May 22

The ongoing conflict between Sikhs and dera followers is likely to end tomorrow as the Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has agreed to solve all issues without any further delay. A draft of the solutions to end the conflict has been prepared.

The final touches will be given after talking to the Sikh high priests tomorrow afternoon, said Arya Samaj leader Swami Agnivesh after a late night meeting with dera chief.

Swami Agnivesh said he had had a long discussion with the SGPC chief Avtar Singh Makkar yesterday over the issue, who had assured him that the SGPC did not want to aggravate the situation further and wanted a peaceful solution.

Earlier in the day a delegation of religious leaders, including Arya Samaj leader Swami Agnivesh and SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar, held discussion with Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh to sort out the issue at the dera this evening.

Other members of the delegation were DGPC president Paramjeet Singh Sarna, Mohammad Elahi, Jain Muni Lukesh Parkash, Father Philip and MP Tarlochan Singh. However, the members of the delegation refused to divulge the details after the meeting.

Although, during the day, the move of the dera surprised everyone when the dera office-bearers released aCD to the media carrying photographs of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and his son Sukhbir Badal, seeking blessings from the dera chief. It also showed Badal along with other leaders holding meeting with the dera chief.

Dera sources said Badal used to come here. But things went worse just before the last assembly elections.

The dera released the CD just a day after Badal took strong stand against the Dera Sacha Sauda chief, advising him to tender an apology Before meeting the dera chief, the delegation discussed the issue with the dera high-level committee, headed by Dr Aditya Arora. The religious leaders will leave for Amritsar after the meeting to meet the Sikhs' high priest. The committee of the religious leaders was formed when all efforts to solve the dispute turned futile.

VEDANTIS A TRAITOR A JOKE OF A JATHEDHAR,WHAT IS HE DOING?:

As the markets around the Golden Temple started reopening after a day-long Punjab bandh on Tuesday evening, the mood at the Akal Takht, the fountainhead of spiritual and temporal authority of Sikhism, appeared clearly reconciliatory inside the holy precincts.

The Akal Takht head priest Jathedar Jogender Singh Vedanti said he was willing to douse the fire if Dera Sachha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh chose the right words in his apology. "Shabd ka hi to saara mamla hai (words are at the root of it all)," he told HT in an exclusive interview inside the Golden Temple complex.

Vedanti refused to comment on the Parkash Singh Badal administration’s anxieties but his close associate, Prathipal Singh Sandhu, said violence would affect everyone adversely, including the Akali Dal-BJP government.

Vedanti clarified that the apology should be addressed to the entire Sikh community and he should say he would not do what he pleases when it comes to Sikhism (manmati naheen karega). It appeared to be a clear climbdown for a religious head who was adamant till Monday evening that he wanted nothing short of immediate closure of Dera branches in Punjab.

Vedanti conceded readily that he has conveyed the words he would like to hear from the Dera chief to a delegation of religious heads, led by Swami Agnivesh, that has been trying to persuade the Dera chief to reword his "regret letter" issued earlier. Other members of the delegation are Jain Muni Lok Prakash Lokesh, Maulana Jamil Ahmed Ilyasi, Maulana Khan Mohammad Hafiz and Father Falyas Parmar.

The Akal Takht chief said he would convene a meeting of other jathedars and issue an appeal for the community's forgiveness as soon as he received the apology. s the markets around the Golden Temple started reopening after a day-long Punjab bandh on Tuesday evening, the mood at the Akal Takht, the fountainhead of spiritual and temporal authority of Sikhism, appeared clearly reconciliatory inside the holy precincts.

So after all this they change their Stance, top them it don't matter Vedantis a liar and Badal's Poodle, this is the view from them''Our Party is happy'',all else don't matter,''So what a few singhs got Shaheed'',we're still in power!

Vedanti and Co can say and do what they like, but one thing I know for sure,is that the Sikh Nation will not let those Shaheedian made by Singhs go to waste.

WJKK WJKF

Hopefully the REAL Singhs can take advantage of the situationand mobilize the Panth. This is probably the best opportunity for Badal and his puppets to be exposed.

Lets see how extreme the extremist are... and how hardline the hardliners are... Lets see if those cries in rememberence of Sant Ji and for Khalistan carry any strength.

WJKK WJKF

True.......i am waiting to see the reactions of bittu, mann, whom i support and also dhumma, nandgarh e.t.c who were quite vocal as well.

this was all a political scam from the beginning...

punjabis and apparently sikhs in north america dont use their heads and just get sucked in...

agreed that the DSS chief did a messed up thing...but others have done far worse...

if there was a morcha..it shoulda been against badal

if there was a morcha it shoulda been against RSS

if there was a morcha it shoulda been against vedanti

if there was a morcha itg shoulda been against baba maan singh...

and various others....

i wonder when our community will stop letting others play with emotions and start using our heads...

and then we turn around and blame all our problems on GOI...
