You can usually tell the difference between Russians and Ukrainians by their names got the most part.

Ukrainians typically end with -ko, so for example Klitschtko, Shevchenko etc

Russians tend to end with -ov like Checkov, Volkov etc.

This is a general rule but there are exceptions. 

Ukrainians and Russians are Slavs. 

Slavic names also end with -sky/ski and -vic/vich, -ev

Otherwise we divert threads. This thread is for events on Ukraine, unless there are Sikhs impacted in Ukraine, we should not be bombarding screenshots from twitter, otherwise discussions get lost
