Why are very unclothed girls running university sikh societies?

Recommended Posts

In this is for the past few years now, not just now.....

On social media for the past few years or so I am seeing girls showing off most of their latta (legs) and shatti (chest) areas in their photos, on places such as Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp cover photos etc. These girls seem to be also controlling social media groups for university sikh societies, quite big societies as well, not going to name any unis.

But serious, this is quite shocking. I don't even think that some of these societies have simran or paat or discussion sessions, just activities to go out (such as paintballing which seems to be popular every year) and call down speakers from BoS to do talks now and then etc. I remember a decade ago some sikh societies were improving with discussions etc.

So what is going on? Would never have nangi jai girls managing the sikh socities in the past, are we going downhill that much???? You see the Singhs in these societies and they have respectful pics wearing paghs, and these days many are wearing dumalla, and dressed like a decent person. Seems to be some inequality when sikh society management has girls still stuck in such slave mentality when it comes to dressing, or lack of???

where is the sharam, what kind of example does this give to other sikh students? are the modern sikh youngster Singhs afraid of the women? seriously what is this..... ???

Their all kanjris   with there body out on display for everyone to look at. No other way of putting it.

They dress like that at the gurdwara too   slags

My family went to a wedding and my sister told me how the women were wearing crop tops and had their tummys out at the gurdwara. My sister was disgusted.

In our modern punjabi culture its wrong for a man to criticise a woman, that's why no one says anything to them.

Women like that need to fck off   it would be gd riddance.

Parenting gone typically wrong. I wonder what kinds of parents these girls have.

I was at a technology meetup yesterday and a random stranger sikh girl had come there too. I knew she was "sikh"  because I heard the receptionist call out "kaur" at her last name.

What was shocking was she was typical of the short-framed punjabi girls we see nowadays , and she ignored me till the last. I had thought she would call me out considering I was the only turbaned guy in the event and we would have some random conversation in punjabi , but she kept biting her lips like a slag, accompanied  with a monah, probably non-sikh guy who looked like a bihari TBH .

Sikhs failed to become good parents I tell u !

The only answer to this let them feel the brunt of their actions.

This kind of behaviour is quite common.

It is the sense of entitlement these type have and they think they are better than you that they you are not worth their time.

They are social climbers and will only want to be associated with you if there is something that you can offer them.

I used to work with a black female colleague and I asked her how she was doing and she said , "what can i do for you?" I was asking  how she was doing as a courtesy just as a person and she was startled when I said "nothing just asking how you are doing".

This kind of non chalant behaviour spreads and when you start talk to people as a normal human beings they are not used to it.

Why is it always about women,  it's ok for men to wear v neck showing off their chest, wear tight t shirts to show off their biceps,  wear tight trousers to show off their cockkkk, once o women does the same then its hell fire. Both men and women are cuffed.  Because they are imitating what they see. Turn that damn tv off because if you didnt know they are programming you. That is why they call them program's.

What he said, people need to focus on their own journey instead of trying to fault others, if they want to dress like that then that's up to them, if your offended, don't look, you can make all the assumptions you want but you don't know them or who they are, also, take a look at Indian history and what women (and men) used to wear throughout the ages.

Because sex is involved. It is the underlying current.

universities are full of these women and men and drunks and druggies, but they never used to run our sikh societies before did they?!

People can show their t1ts and c0cks off as much as they want but when it comes to representing sikhs or at the gurdwara then no they should not be allowed   and something needs to be done because it's getting out of hand.

You really think female sikh shaheeds and sikh females of the past would appreciate the way their name is getting dragged in the gutter by these "sikh" women of today.

It’s more than parents. Upbringing can guide you only so far. The world and the company you keep have a far more powerful effect.

I once joined a Sikh society at university. It was intended to be positive - there was a good attendance for some stuff like talks on Sikhi, attending programs at Gurdwaras etc. But there was also focus on “socialising”, something which i didn’t bother with. Turns out that some apne were using it as a way to meet new guys and girls to develop sexual relationships.

Sikh Societies should be run similarly to Gurdwaras and held to similar standards - involvement of Gursikh role models, Gursikh behaviour etc. Those running the societies who are later found to be involved in shameful acts (be it drinking, smoking, drugs etc), should be removed from their posts.

I still feel sad that so many apne are so far removed from Sikhi that they wouldn’t be able to name the 10 forms of the Guru, the Panj Pyare, or Char Sahibzadee. Nor would they be able to recite Mool mantar. With so much modern technology, it should be easier to spread the message of Sikhi.

    • I got to say Snatam Kaur does a good job in promoting bani though.
    • It's better for certain types of blokes to give it a miss too. Or else they can end up facing serious charges, what with all that drink and all that stuff laying around to hurt someone with. lol
    • getting to the point where it's just best to go home after the Anand Karaj , the rest of the day gets spoilt by yobbish/slaggish behaviour by wannabe coconuts ...that's why I do.
    • sikhi was known in the west well before the multiple sex offender Yogi Harbhajan turned up on US soil, he tainted the image of sikhi by running a gangster organisation running mail fraud whilst starving and exhausting the followers into a suggestible state to donate their full workday and wages to the cause . He forcibly sterlised one woman, and made another have multiple abortions all the while raping others , such a saintly soul, you can read the transcript of one court case online. the response of the current runner of sikhnet is to paint the victims as mad, vengeful, evil women and stop them from even talking about the truth anywhere.
    • 1. the news is lifted from indian and other diaspora desi run agencies so nothing involving their effort other than cut paste 2. sikiwiki is their number one weapon after their cut paste distorted translations of gurbani  to insert false info and doubts against sikhi 3. the 3HO er who 'made' the translations of gurbani did not know gurbani fully before being tasked by yogi  to present his 'translations which was actually repackaged work of desi Sikhs of yesteryear. 4. every fb post, mention of sikhnet is accompanied by a link which goes through a barrage of subsciption or money demands which are obnoxious and make people think that all sikhs are like that ...moneygrubbers which is not true. 5. most of the kirtan is uploaded from other sites too , I guess that is their MO zero effort max profiteering 6. Desi sikhs should investigate their operations and clarify to foreign official government departments that they do not speak for sikhs everywhere , in fact, US sikhs have protested against Indian Govt agents hosted by these bheki folks.
