Sure, you make valid points. And it is possible to widen the scope of my argument. But on the other hand, I really don't need to widen the scope of my argument.

It's this simple with respect to kesh: it requires no effort. People have an option to identify as Sikhs by doing literally NOTHING. They could just sit there and do nothing and kesh would grow.

But when someone goes out of their way and uses their time/energy/money to remove their kesh, it makes it crystal clear whether they value Sikhi or not. It speaks volumes that Sikhi bothers them so much that they are willing to use their time/energy/money every day to declare to the world they do not believe in Sikhi. They would rather do that than embrace Sikhi by doing something that requires no effort.

I was thinking about this Ukraine situation and treatment of refugees brown vs white.

Ofc there is hypocrisy and blatant racism, but i think ppl quick to forget when the Syria war broke out alot of Europen countries opened their door welcomed with open arms. However the non-vetting and allowing anyone with background checked caused alot of tension. R*pe Germany, Sweden, grooming, remember France those terror attack cars ramming in crowds. Changes the landscapes and politics of countries in Europe.

Another those Gulf states, Muslim countries like Turkey refused to take as many refugees or minimum as possible.

But you do feel for the ME, esp like Afghan they ruined their country and then left and now country brink of starvation. Sad. I can understand M's doing Jihad on West as revenge but then again its effects ppl like us we are stuck

This Russia/Ukraine is new, but if it carry's on ppl will become desensitized to it like the rest of wars etc

This bitterness doesn't help you or anyone around you. Deep Sidhu inspired the Sikh youth of Punjab, both kesadhari and non-kesadhari, in a way no one in my living memory has been able to. Give the man his due. Thanks in part to him, Simranjit Singh Maan's Party has increased their votes from a measly 50,000 to a healthy 400,000.

Deep's trajectory, before he passed away, was towards genuine Khalsa Saroop, not just the superficial adherence to the saroop many cling onto for social reasons. 

Have you not encountered any monays that have become singhs in your life? Most of us know someone who genuinely has bettered their life by slowly pacing themselves towards the khalsa life. These types bring great energy into the Panth.
