The old-timers pulling the strings in the background would rather die before they ever relinquish this policy. They've got it into their heads that Pakistani alignment (on the part of Sikhs) would hurt India, therefore job done. To a certain degree they are correct, but as usual our short-sightedness is unable to see the end implications of such a relationship.

We bring NOTHING to the table; we have NO leverage, NO power, NO anything. The only thing we can bargain away are potential future gains that would be snatched away from us at the negotiation stage; effectively, we'd give away something before we'd even obtained it on the basis of a promise that could easily be broken. For that reason this so-called leadership is to our detriment, not our benefit.

If they are politicians, they would know they cannot trust Pakistan, but what alternative do they have in short term ?

Our people need to really wake-up to the current geo-politics and world power structures before placing our hopes on these silly adventures. We have no allies. NONE. We have no bargaining power and nothing to offer. We are fools if we think the UN or UK government, or any other western government gives a damn for our aspirations. The sooner reality hits home, the sooner we can start on the long and hard march to freedom. We keep playing the same cards from nearly half a century back. If you aren't up to date, forget about playing even.

I'm going to throw out something that might be considered to be demoralising to most, but I see it as a reality that needs to be accepted and understood: the people drawn to spearheading the so-called independence and freedom movement of ours are exactly the types we DON'T want leading the movement. The people who we DO need leading the charge realise that they will never be given the lead. The latter group can see the mistakes and the pitfalls before they arise, but because they're frozen out of the picture by this incestuous group of Punjabi elites and their religious front men who want to ensure the core power structure is contained within their hereditary bloodlines, it won't even hurt when we see them getting nowhere.

Plus, the third world, chaotic Punjabi disorganisation and general lack of decorum is off-putting to anyone but those who revel in that type of environment and culture. There's nothing of appeal to anyone with even the slightest sense of calm consideration. They always default to, "That's not how things work here," which would be acceptable IF how they "worked there" had actually reaped some rewards for us at any moment in our recent history.

If our “leaders” are simps for either Pakistan, India, or the Western countries, why would anyone respect us? I don’t imagine Baba Deep Singh Ji or Bhai Mani Singh Ji would ever be asking the Mughal government or Abdali’s government for help on anything or for rights/justice for Sikhs.

Also logically speaking we don’t have that much resources in Punjab or a significant amount of importance to outsiders to be relevant enough for them to assist us. (We can’t compare our Punjab to Israel as for the Evangelical Christians Israel is supposed to be assisted because of something from the Bible).

Ultimately, everyone we are seeking help from would rather want us to be gone.

Logically, where does your solid argument take us? What's the natural decision to make after taking all the above into consideration?

The best thing we can do is increase numbers, being only 2% of a population in the country we are most populated is not seen as a serious threat. I know a lot of people are “quality over quantity”, but in democracy, numbers are all that matters.

You literally have no voice because of your low population so how can u constantly celebrate being 2% wth like i just dont understand.

Jews are only around 2-3 % of USA population, and only around 0.5% UK population, but they have major influence in business, politics, and media.

They get so much support from the christians of US. Why does israel get so much money from the US? We dont have anyone. Jews got israel from the support of British not because they fought for it. Even in the war against arab countries the US helped them. We need to understand we have no allies. We have to look for our own interests.
