Sad news about Deep Sidhu!

I know that when someone great such as him dies, we cannot accept that it happened randomly, after all accidents happen all the time in Punjab and people are killed BUT this 'accident' has all the hallmarks of a state assassination and poorly carried out one at that. Maybe the state did not have the time to perfect the assassination and his murder was planned hurriedly due to the effect he was having on the Punjab elections especially on the campaign of Simranjit Singh Mann. The Indian state's narrative has always been to belittle the Khalistan movement as a movement of a few NRIs abroad funded by the ISI and having no relevance in Punjab. BUT a victory for Simranjit Singh Mann, especially as his previous defeats have  always been presented as evidence that the Khalistan movement has no support from the people in Punjab would show that to be a lie. The Indian state could not allow that. Deep Sidhu's powerful oratory against AAP who I genuinely believe is the BJP's B team, the BJP know that no Sikh in Punjab will vote for them, so they are using AAP as a Trojan Horse to rule Punjab by proxy will have dented their chances to win a majority. Kejriwal's refusal to release Professor Davinderpal Singh Bhullar and his recent statement trying to scare the Punjab Hindus into voting for him by using the threat of a revival of Sikh militancy shows where his loyalty lies. Deep Singh was a threat to the Indian narrative on Khalistan and chance of the BJP's B team to rule Punjab. His video, asking Sikhs to choose between the Kirpan and Jharoo is so powerful, it will probably be the image of the Punjab elections of 2022. It as already become iconic. If AAP fail to get a majority, it will have been this speech that will have scuppered their dream of ruling Punjab.

Deep was the most effective person in denting the image of AAP for the Sikhs. Everyone had been hoodwinked by kejriwal, but this Son of Punjab stood up. The people calling him gadaar have joined up with BJP, while he chose the most neglected party by our kaum. I don't think any one has been mourned by the Panth in recent times the way Deep was. It reminds me of the stories of how the whole Punjab cried when Sukha and Jinda were hanged.

We have to understand particular pathological psychologies that are attracted to power to make some sense of this maybe? 

 

Same here..also you hear 'Sant Ji was working for the gov types too'..and they'd be full khrakus Singhs too!

..we can apply some basic human common sense/psychology and we will never now the truth

I tried to think rationally last few days if it could be a 'unfortunate accident'...but it doesn't add up..his photos, the crash, he was under track gps..

What your thoughts on it being horrific accident..? Whats are the chance..Spoke to some who said they are being open minded not delving too much is

This is a standard setup used in the West to take someone out. 

They are all paid actors (including the two so-called witnesses) as part of a play to cover up the truth.  Actors are part of the eco system used to subvert facts, promote a particular agenda. Seen it so many times in both the UK and USA. 

The fact that Deep Sidhu was about to disclose the truth about the Farmers Protest speaks volumes about the motive for his murder.  That would have exposed those at the very centre of the conflict. Perhaps he already did disclose material that put him at risk, hence why the authorities in Punjab took this step. They had all the means to carry out this heinous crime due to their connections with the media, police, hospital staff and who knows who else.

It's a very similar assassinstion to that of Shushant Singh Rajput carried out at the behest of the Maharastra govt, using police, hospitals, many actors and a honey trap.

Part of me isn't surprised. It was chaotic back then. Even people in the UK publicising the kharku lehar were getting executed on the street. 

Did you ever read Cythnia Mahmood's critical reflection on the movement? She met and interviewed some of the fighters. Well worth a read. It sort of reflects what we are saying. Can't believe it's 24 years old now. I don't think we've learnt much in certain respects?

Maybe this is the sad truth? I think we've got a  lot of nonbelieving blood in our quom right now too.
