Muktsar, May 10

Relatives of a 35-year-old man from Mallan village in Gidderbaha, who faces beheading in Saudi Arabia, are seeking financial assistance from public to save his life.

Notably, Balwinder Singh would be executed if he fails to pay Rs 2 crore blood money to a family there by May 15. Balwinder was held guilty of killing a Saudi Arabian national in 2013. He had gone to the Middle East in 2008.

Hardeep Singh, cousin of Balwinder, said, “There was a dispute between a Punjabi youth and Saudi Arabian national. Balwinder just intervened. As the Saudi resident tried to kill him with a knife, Balwinder hit him with a stick in self-defence. The man lost his life after four days of hospitalisation. Balwinder was first awarded imprisonment for seven years. Thereafter, the court told him to pay blood money of Rs 2 crore by November 8, 2021, to the deceased’s family or face beheading.”

Another cousin, Joginder Singh, said, “After Balwinder pleaded for some time to arrange money, he was given a deadline till May 15. We have collected around Rs 1.3 crore. Balwinder has also arranged Rs 40 lakh. Now, we are short of Rs 30 lakh.”

Hardeep said, “We appeal to the philanthropists and the state government to help us. Balwinder is lodged in Riyadh jail.”

Gurpreet Kaur, sarpanch, Dadu Mohalla Mallan, said, “The family is speaking truth. They do not have money or land to save the life of Balwinder. We will go to meet the Deputy Commissioner tomorrow in this regard.”

meanwhile in Punjab our low iq people doing this...... @Kau89r8 @MisterrSingh @dallysingh101

Why would Hindutva create a situation where potentially there is another 5th column that threaten to break India in Punjab if they are allowing these franchises.  It is not in their interest. Tha

I think we have no option but to accept [which we should, as Sikhs] and come to terms with the worldview of Guru Maharaj, based off of what we can gather from both Gurbani sources and other historical

I visited Dubai once, it was OK for a one off holiday, I would never go again and certainly wouldn't want to live or work there. The law is heavily in favour of the locals and I can imagine it being far worse in Saudi Arabia.

I really don't undertaken the apne who visit Dubai every single year. It really is shallow place.

Dubai/UAE is only bright on the surface. In reality, these countries rest on mountains of human tragedies.

There's a rumour that social media "influencers" who often visit Dubai do extremely revolting things for wealthy men in exchange for money and gifts.

Ikr like all I see in the videos is shopping places and similar stuff nothing else. That country just seems to be built for materialism lol. Is there much to do there? I mean everytime i see dubai vlogs people literally be going to the same mall and a few similar places like this indoor amusement park, this cultural place where they have food from all over the world and a few other things. Like I always wonder what do people go to dubai even for?

Oh 100% sure about the influencer thing. They are also paid money to promote Dubai. They post the same pictures infront of that burj Khalifa and what not. It's all business. People will do anything for money now a days.

Yeah it's good for a one off visit and that's it. You can buy the exact same stuff over here. It's also extremely hot most of the year.

@proudkaur21 it can't even be described as Low IQ thinking.

The best way to describe so-called Sikhs aiding and abetting the planned anti-Sikh agenda of 13,000 newly constructed Mosques in each and every village of east Punjab is that they either hate Sikhi secretly or they are mentally retarded.

What we need instead is a Dharam Yudh in which all of us on push the agenda to unite every single pind (and locality in the West) under a single united casteless Gurdwara asap this decade.

That will be the key to defeating this looming demographic threat in east Punjab that seeks to turn Sikhs into a minority in east Punjab by the 2031 census.

    • Many of current Sikh youth (16 and under) have special auras, they got lifetimes of bhagati Take example of how there is huge demand for certain jobs, where they get like 500 applications for 1 role. There is also a huge demand for obtaining the human body, for the opportunity to merge back into God. Once upon a time this earth was a beautiful place, during satyug, then what happened? As people do more paap, the soul they give birth to has less bhagati. It's a downward spiral from there. These people killing each other today, who do you think they were before this? They were ghosts and spirits. When parents don't have bhagati and too much paap that's the type of soul they give birth to. There's no shortage of good souls waiting to take birth, but they require parents with suitable bhagati which is very hard to find. Daas had a vision through dasam duar about khalsa raj, that right now there's nearly 1 billion (call it 960 million if you want) souls (not body's, raw souls - like ghosts but harmless) on this earth and they are begging 24/7 from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji to be blessed a human life. They are souls from satyug who need 1 more life to take amrit before they can enter sachkhand. So while humans waste their life away blinded by maya, these souls are non stop doing seva and begging guru sahib ji for the gift of human life.  Today's young generation are more into Sikhi than their parents, in turn they give birth to souls with even more bhagati - upward spiral. The coming times are scary. The ones who have taken amrit, their souls will enter directly into sachkhand then take birth again during peaceful times to complete their remaining karams etc.
    • Anything in particular making you feel this way?
    • You need to read history, we were doing really well before they turned up. By the time they left, it was a mess.
    • 1. my parents brought me here as a child. I didn't choose to. 2. I will not be here forever. 3. They got great benefits from the services of Punjabi men fighting their wars. 4. They ruined the structure of our homeland by giving away the good part to muslims. So they fully deserve to get a taste of their own medicine. 5. They still loot resources from third world countries. 6. If they can come, colonize and occupy entire countries by their policies of divide and rule in the name of "trade", why can't pocs go to their countries to work? I am pretty sure the colonization was to extract as much resources as possible and not for the benefit of the people. So who cares if certain groups of pocs are living on benefits in their countries or cause issues. I'm pretty sure when they were ruining your homeland they weren't thinking about all these things. Some of you all care too much on behalf of a group of people who dont care whether you live or die. It's like it hurts you more than them every time you people go " sO wHy ArE yOu LiViNg In ThEiR cOuNtRiEs".
    • Then why do you live in a 'Euro' country?
