Many people like to dismiss this unfortunately and have no faith in Bachans of Mahapurakhs. What They tell us is just the end result. Khalsa Raj is going to happen in our lifetime, but when many people hear this they think we are referring to it happening magically without any work. All the events that are happening now are towards preparation of Khalsa Raj and all of these are in Vaheguru ji's khel. It's about time they pivot back to the Panth, even if out of compulsion. Sadly though, many of our brethren back home will side with AAP and Kejriwals puppet, Bhagwant Mann, and actually oppose this message by pinning it as a survival attempt by Badal through proxy. And........(hate putting this out there) Paying sullay families that have had a member knocked off seems to be a well established cultural norm. And another thing, yes Shri Guru Granth Sahib is our Guru ji, but the reality is that you need to bring in Dasam Granth and puratan rahitnamas (and other puratan literature like hukamnamas) to get a real gist of original Sikhi/Khalsa culture. Perceiving Guru ji as some equivalent of an abrahamic scripture doesn't cut it. Studying old rahits is very important and answers a lot of questions.

It's actually a three-pronged approach as in order to turn Sikhs into a minority by the 2031 census a Hindu majority is not needed. i) So obviously there is economic labour migration from people perceived to be Hindu's but who with parchaar could readily become new sehajdhari Sikhs in most cases. These folks are essential for the economy of Punjab and provided we assimilate them as new Sikhs there won't be a problem if we simply educate them about our Shaheed Bhai Jiwan Singh Ji from Bihar and Dhan Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. What is today perceived as a problem could turn into a massive demographic blessing for the Panth if we integrate and welcome new non-Punjabi's into the Sikh Panth. ii) Then you have the two Abrahamic communities who together are currently at around a matching percentage to Muslims in the UK. Both these communities oppose the BJP's anti-conversion and anti-love-jihad/baptism laws. The Christians are planting massive Christian crosses on strategic corners to the pinds where their business franchises are operating. The Muslims having wanted to annex east Punjab into Pakistan in 1947 were given free reign to reactivate and rebuild as many empty mosques by Muhammad Izhar Alam who was appointed head of the Punjab Waqf Board as a reward for his Genocide of so many Amritdhari Sikhs in the 1980's on behalf of the Gandhi family. The only way we can fightback against this evil agenda against our Panth is if we unite each and every pind in Punjab under a single united Gurdwara in this decade. There is simply no way for a community split by various apartheid franchise Dera's in a single pind to survive. It's been a few years since I stopped home console and PC gaming. I stopped portable 3DS gaming a few years ago and have been mobile gaming for some years now. I have been trying to get back into gaming on my XBOX one S, but things keep coming up, or sleep time keeps coming up lol I wouldn't mind getting into multiplayer gaming where we can make money from competitions such as League of Legends, Fortnight or creating Roblox games, can we make money from Apex Legends and Minecraft? We should create teams which sync well for competitions. Other games we should just play really casually and not get too serious.

Thanks will take a look! I am a former gamer stopped in 2015 or 16. Not retro, but last games I played would be Hitman Absolutions, Max Payne 3 and GTA 4. Best games would be San Andreas, Hitman series (though Hitman 2 on PS2 version mentions "Gurudwara" and "Terrorist in 1984" in the game manual, unforgivable)! And Rainbow Seven 1 and 2 and Splinter cell series.

I think if there is any group of people who are acutely and hawkishly aware of their own self interests it's our desi rural brethren. People here are worried about the situation back home, but they need to realise that many of us in the diaspora will have our own issues to contend with vis-à-vis assimilation, conversions, rising white nationalist right-wingism etc. etc. over the next few decades (especially in the UK and US). In the end we'll all be fighting our own battles for survival. People back home will realise and contend with their situation when it comes to it. I mean they are in a better position than the rest of us because of population density and numbers. I just see it as a simple, relatively underdeveloped people about to go through the steep end of the learning curve myself.

These rough and ready "banter" types need to recognise boundaries as soon as you come across these types of guys. If you're one of those pappus that giggles nervously when goreh like this guy start dropping nonsense into conversations to see if there's going to be any resistance or pushback, you're basically done for. All it takes is a "shut your f****g mouth, you wan**er!" with a laugh to establish limits. Say something off-colour about something you know he holds dear. It seems the past 10 years of feeding the Sikh mind with Sufi / Islamophilic culture has done its job. Its softened up the Sikh mind to open themselves up to people they should keep at arm's length. My first console was the N64 back in the late 90s, so innovative. That and the PS4 have been my faves.

This video says that a descendent of Guru Nanak converted to Islam. Some woman is named as converting. She wouldn't have been the one to initially convert. Women is those days did whatever their husbands did, and most likely it was the hisband who converted and she had no choice but to follow. Sad as it is if it's true, but those days were like that. I've seen this before in a family of Bedi's in Malaysia where the man converted and his wife had no choice but to convert with him.

It's hard to tell, but what I think is highly likely is that if we have a stronger 'Panjabi cultural identity' than a Sikh one, we'll be forever complaining about the other communities that put their faith first over their culture and how they are more cohesive than us, and achieve more. I recognise we can't be all sombre and serious all the time as a quom, and that fun is essential in life, but I guess it's the context and arrangements for this that make a difference. We know we've actually helped put some of our own in the hands of predators in the past through this. A balance has to be achieved, and me personally, I think that a strong primary Sikh identity with a deeply rooted (but shrewd) empathy and brotherly/sisterly affection for your own, and a desire and will to actively participate in developing your community is paramount. Folk dancing can be a fun, temporary relief from things, but when we excessively focus on that to the detriment of developing in other key areas, we'll only be at a constant disadvantage to other more astute, better organised, forward thinking groups.
