What relevance does the Kalki Avatar has in Sikhism and who is this avatar? Is he here yet on earth, or has been or is coming soon? The Muslims claim he was prophet muhammad. The Hindu's claim he will be shiva / vishnu or an incarnation of him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZYcMu6DSEw&feature=related

Let's start a thread where we can all give thanks to Waheguru. At times we tend to focus on the negatives things that happen (me included!), so why not focus on the good things Waheguru provides us with. It can be small things or big, it doesn't matter. So let me start: Thank you Waheguru for my family.

Wjkk Wjkf Guru Roop Sangat Jeo, Apologies for all the mistakes made in translating this veechar, hope it is a fairly clear read. Bhull Chukk Maaf, Gurfateh Jeo --------------------------------------- Logan Ram Khilona Jaana -------------------------------------- A toy is meant for playing, it is something which helps to pass the time. A child is someone who loves playing with toys and treats everything around him as playing objects. If we place some expensive object in front of a child, he will start playing with it without considering its worth. If a few children are left in an expensive car unattended, there is every possibility that they will treat it as a big toy…

Why is that maya seem so sweet? i mean guru sahib tells us time and again that maya is not good, nothing good wil come outta it. even knowing that we are still attracted to maya very much. lets take MOH for example. (wanted to take another example, but i think this will serve its purpose) guru sahib tells us its not good to be in moh with anyone, but even knowing this we still get trapped in it !!!!!!!!!! why is that? this has been bugging me for quite some time now. why does maya seem so sweet? we would automatically rise above maya the day we dont find it sweet. until then, why is maya so sweet?

The 'Pharla' In his book 'Guru Keeyaan Saakheeyaan', Swaroop Singh Kaushish gives a 'Sakhi', according to which, in Samvat 1760 Bikrami, King Ajmer Chand attacked Sri Anandpur Sahib Ji. Sikh warrior Bhai Maan Singh pitched the flag in the battlefield and fought with force. He was wounded during the ensuing battle during which the Sikh flag was broken by the enemies and fell down. A Sikh relayed this occurrence to Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Guru Ji immediately made a 'Pharara' from blue 'keski' (small turban) and said, "Henceforth, this Khalsa flag will never be broken". The 'Sakhi' given by 'Guru Keeyaan Saakheeyaan' says that 'Pharara' was drawn from the small blue turban…

By KULBIR SINGH http://gurmatbibek.com/forum/read.php?3,4226 Veer Harinder Singh asked this Daas a question to which the response is presented below, for benefit of others. Everything is Vaheguru himself since he is pervading in everything. 1) First he established himself (not created) and then he created his Naam. 2) ਦੁਯੀ i.e. secondly he created ਕੁਦਰਤਿ which is also called Prakriti. This Prakriti is the ingredients (5 elements of this world) from which different forms were created e.g. different forms are made from clay. Clay is Prakriti and different forms are the …
