I was wondering what is the need of Khalistan? , Well I know the whole background about 1984 and aftermath , and debates about Sikhs being unequally treated at different places etc etc. But its all leading to a very protesting-wing of Sikhism , I see young people wearing Singh Shirts/Hoods , idolizing Bhindrawale , and acting as if they are the warriors . i feel like im being punished. theres so much stuff that happened to me in the last five years that sometimes i feel like ending my life. it just seems to be one thing after the other. im 24 and have suffered alot of health problems which have all been down to the depression ive been going through. ie no job, which has led to an inactive lifestyle. which has affected my heath in alot of way. i just dont know how many more knocks i can take in life.

I feel sooo alone at the moment and am constantly thinking negatively i am trying to get out this by exercising/eating etc its helping but not alot. WJKK WJKF Sangat Ji I was just wondering, I know Ranjit Singh Ji Dhadrianwale does katha, but when he is actually singing kirtan, he doesn't do it the way typical ragi's do. Also instead of a tabula, someone is playing a dhol, and the way the chimta's are played are kinda different. Is this a specific style of kirtan, and does it have a name? WJKK WJKF

WHY in the world are people still thinking in that way? Does being a khalsa make you better than an amritdhari sikh with no khalsa on their name? The whole reason why Guru Gobind Singh Ji named us SINGH and KAUR was to show we are the same, WHY are people, even amritdhari sikhs acting in this way? Isn't that being disrespectful to our guru. Why are people going against the Guru by not keeping the names KAUR and SINGH!

I just wanted to share how I have been feeling past few days..I am a regular Sikh , not an amritdhari , I may look like a normal Sikh walking down the dusty streets of Punjab (and other places,I travel a lot) .. But things have been troubling me . Hey guys i have 2 quick questions to ask the sangat: 1) kk we know how our guru's said something along the line of "i dont worship any hindu idol, i dont keep fasts, and i dont make pilgrimage's to mecca" ...so with tht said, i wanna no why we have nagar kirtans then?.. i mean we walk from 1 place towards a gurdwara.. but isnt tht sort of like a pilgrimage also?? 2) Wht did guru nanak mean by "there is no hindu, there is no muslim" sry if i offend anyone but i jus want to know, so incase any one ever asks me i have an answer for them instead of jus looking dumb and not knowing about my own religion =)

back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
