  1. Very true. It is a tragedy that he passed away so young. If you watch any of his videos especially ones where he is answering specific questions on current issues he is always using Gurbani to back up his argument. Unlike the mu.ppets like Ravi Singh who twist Gurbani to suit their agenda, Bhai Jagraj Singh never twisted Gurbani even if the answer he was going to give would hurt the feelings of the person asking the question. Case in point, in the video below Bhai Jagraj Singh is countered the falsehood that liberals like to propagate that the Gurus just wanted people to follow their own religion and not to convert to Sikhi. He shows that the Gurus asked Muslims to be true Muslims and then redefined Muslim as a person who was a Gurmukh and not a follower of Mohammed. This view no doubt angered many liberals but they could not do anything because he was using Gurbani to back up his views. After Jagraj Singh, mu.ppets like Ravi Singh have bought their own liberal gandh into Sikh public life. I have never heard Ravi Singh once use Gurbani to back up his liberal ideas apart from misusing the Manas Ki Jaat Sabhe Ek Pechanbo verse.

  2. This is a bit 'out there'. But anyone here think they have come across a 'spy' in real life ? I'm aware there are different levels of 'spy' and most of them have a full time job. But there are places in which they would be present, for example educational institutions, government etc. For example, administrators in Universities, presidents of religious societies. Apparently some Gurdware committee members in UK are spies for GOI I know that many journalists based abroad are potentially spies. Some might be 'double agent' working for both. Indian origin MP's like Priti Patel could be GOI agent. I used to joke at Uni that one of the Iranian students was a spy because in my mind, Iranians were different from other Muslims! Joking, or not joking, anyone met a spy in real life ? Or have any theories about media personalities or international figures who might not obviously come across as a spy, but who are ? I realise that there would be different 'levels' of spy/spying. And I am aware that 'spy agencies' likely look at this site !

  4. Women know which way the winds of society are blowing and follow accordingly. Their interest or lack of is directly related to what they perceive will be useful going into the future. It’s not that they grow up with some religiously segregated systems, they know exactly what’s what no matter the façade. It’s just that they are more attuned to what direction the society around them is moving in and will seek to attach to the most beneficial side.

  5. I think I have, one American guy who worked in a law firm I did a stint in decades ago. He asked a lot of questions about K'stan. I think some of the international corporate lawyers do this (supply information to the intel services about what's what in countries they deal with). I suspect some of the Panjabi guys I've encountered on building sites to be Punjab Police affiliated too. Also, I've been indirectly approached to help set up an 'intelligence network' in Panjab and the people who were behind it were apparently in the house of commons. I told them to f**k off obviously. That was over twenty years ago though. They will be there wherever they feel power is being concentrated.

  6. Thing is, from what I've seen, identity is a hard thing to grasp/understand. I mean look at all the women with sardar fathers, who are acting in a way that would've been considered scandalous in our society only a few generations back, publically too (like some we've been discussing over the last few days). The ironic thing is, I know plenty of girls with drinking, monay fathers who would never dare to go that way. Like I said, it's difficult to understand.

  9. I don’t think it’s the parents, but rather that the difference between a man and a woman is that in general a man is more free-minded and is willing to seek out knowledge from the outside if need be; while on average a woman would accept whatever her parents tell her regardless of whether it’s true or not. If you look at women who come from families where the dad is a pakka Sikh in terms of him keeping a strong Amrit vela, doing sewa at Gurdwara, and overall focused on Gurmat; they tend to follow the dad unless their in the rebellious phase. If you compare that to guys, they tend to on average go towards the direction they want to go to, so even if a kid has Mona parents, he could eventually learn enough through interest and become close to Sikhi without the need for parents.

  12. That's a sad truth. The majority of apnay lokh aren't getting any solid education on their identity from there these days. Probably been a while that this is going on. The reality is that anyone even half intelligent, genuinely curious and interested in Sikhi would probably get more info from the internet and quicker too.

  14. There's a difference even away from India/Punjab from what I see between the rural and urban Punjabis/Sikhs in even second or third generations. Might be down to greater education ->better jobs -> kids have 'better' jobs/way of living. The ones from pinds are the ones who are 99% in the gangs and white collar crimes. They're also the ones who will lead protests for Sikh rights and fight the Police and other wrong uns if needed.

  17. This guy is absolute evil and there is no difference between him and the SS in WW2. But to make his misdeeds representative of all the Jats in the Punjab police just shows how ignorant you are. Of course there were some real bas.tards in the PP who tortured and murdered innocent Sikhs but they do not represent anything less than a very small minority. The majority of PP were just trying to survive. First Robeiro and then Gill inducted criminals and leftists into the PP and made them into SHOs, SSPs and DSPs. When the truth of what happened in the 90s comes to light which it will because the truth can never be hidden for long then people like you who eagerly accept Gill's lies will have to eat their words. There were Jats in the PP who were happy to work as slaves for the Indian state and enrich themselves but they were not the majority. When these senior officers were killed, the Kharkoos always had inside information provided by the PP constables and lower ranks. Here is a article from 1989 which shows just much the Kharkoos had infiltrated the PP had been, none of these attacks on the sons of the police officers ( these officers were mass murderers, Govind Ram was blown up a few months after his son was killed. Dangerous strategy - Indiascope News - Issue Date: Oct 15, 1989 (indiatoday.in) Here is report of the attack on Robeiro which unfortunately was unsuccessful but shows the level of inside information that the Kharkoos had within the Punjab police. Attempt on Ribeiro: Hitting deep - Cover Story News - Issue Date: Oct 31, 1986 (indiatoday.in) The Kharkoos even got to Robeiro's bodyguard. Sudden death - Indiascope News - Issue Date: Jan 15, 1988 (indiatoday.in)

  18. so we should just give up and not do anyhting? well i believe the weaker souls who in spite of getting the gift to be born into sikhi will wither away and only the strong sikhs will remain. Wouldnt it be better? Most of these weaker sikhs will intermarry and give up on sikhi. The stronger ones will continue to latch onto it. Wouldnt it just remove the weak ones from our panth.

  19. you see this with how apnay will rather help these 1.8 billion oil rich muslims with like 40+ countries than helping their own because it is egoistic to help your own. Man who taught this nonsense to our people.

  20. 100% . my parents were the typical indian urban sikh family who taught me nothing about sikhi. I didnt even know about 1984 until i was 14 years old. But when i came to canada, joined twitter and started researching about what happened to our people and how we have been robbed of our beautiful heritage land and culture and seeing how sikhs are being constantly attacked in india i became so much stronger in my sikhi. Like when you know that you are attacked for a particular thing that you possess you become more attached to it. You wont believe i used to be the same dil saaf type of person that i vehemently resent now. These dil saaf peoples eyes havent been opened yet to what they are being robbed off which is why they bark all this nonsense 24/7. Unfortunately the sikhs in india dont know yet what they are being robbed off which is why they behave this way.

  21. this is true omg in punjab they laugh at saabat soorat sikhs and call them giani and think they are backwards. Mona sikhs and hindu do this together. I have myself experienced this. Can you believe any Muslim would laugh at their own religious people with sikhs and joke about them? No. THIS IS HOW FAR WE HAVE FALLEN. Our people are very materialistic and only think about money.

  22. Interesting that most people don't equate the attributes you've listed above with the intellectual or cognisant aspect of being a Sikh in terms of being "aware" and understanding the state of things in relation to real-world issues and practices. That probably inadvertently answers the question as to why Sikhs find themselves in this difficult situation. That's a very trite and low-level way of providing potential solutions to these problems. You're almost making excuses for their lack of interest, ambition, and general curiosity.

  24. I don't know if people know this, but when the Lahore Singh Sabha Lehar started, it was done with the blessing of the then ruling colonial brits. Apparently the original name was going to be 'Loyal Singh Sabha' but the brits told them to change that to just 'Singh Sabha', presumably to hide the ties?

  25. Sach Gal, but there’s lots of people who wear turbans who don’t know anything about Sikhi, and most of the time, even if someone goes to Gurdwara often; that doesn’t correlate to them having more knowledge than someone who doesn’t go to Gurdwara at all. If we compared that to Muslims, even their lay people know enough about the religion to tell what are some of the common things in their faith.

Been since beginning of islam...I give them credit at least they doing what Islamic teaches them to do.. spread the world of allah. Also if they convert non-believers or those who are different faiths they get extra points when they reach heaven...its part of their duty...

  30. Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh ji Sorry for the late reply I was busy with exams and family things. Hanji, when world does paap, bad karma is added to the world. The world is taking too much Paap.Even our planet is a soul and is alive, there is a limit to how much paap can be handled. So bad things happen as a result, Natural disasters, wars, floods. The only thing we can do is Jap Naam and encourage others to read Bani as well.

  31. The intent is unclear at this stage as we don't know who's really behind it. If it's being brought by our Home Secretary it may be to rein in those shipping in illegals from across the waters. As we know she has been trying to modify the Home Office that is said to be totally corrupt. Many years ago an Iraqi acquaintance told him he could buy UK visas for his relatives for a price as there were individuals working at the Home Office willing to deliver. On the other hand it may be misused by any future Home Secretary who desires to change the demography or to satisfy a request from allies. Such as is currently happening to Julian Assange. It seems that the wording of the section has been taken directly from the RIP Act, justifying surveillance against those deemed to be bringing disrepute to the UK. This surveillance includes the use of torture methods that breach all Human Rights laws and designed to break the will of whistleblowers.

  32. Something I don't get is why people who were previously well-built become obese within 1-2 years of getting married. This is for both males and females. I'd assume having a committed partner, (which is not a good reason to stay fit), just makes them lazy.

  33. Yeah I know, but the original term woke has kind of lost it's meaning. The wokeys I'm talking about are those non-binary 500 billion genders and those women are always victims and all men are misogonysts and how men have no problems in life and those f the patriarchy and f all white people.

  34. Can’t believe you’re equating this to porn, lmao. Anything to steer away from the crux of the issue, right? Sikhs aren’t raising their daughters well. Worse, they aren’t educating them enough about Muslims. I remember when I mentioned grooming to my mother and she said ‘don’t talk about those things, everyone is equal, respect them’. There’s clearly some sort of issue here within our community. Meanwhile a Muslim wouldn’t hesitate to inform their children all the evils about Christians or Jews or non-Abrahamics

  35. If you have the right skills you can minimise getting hit in the head. The sweet science is just as much about being evasive as being offensive. If this young Singh makes it all the way, then he will be role model for many more who will surely follow this path. I hope he goes all the way.

  36. Always be wary of Sikhs who take honours like obe's etc. They bang on about racism , inclusion and all that jazz...but it's just to elevate their egos, climb the ladders and they can't run quick enough to Buckingham palace to get 'empire' added to their name and kneel before the establishment that spread that empire around the world . I find it disgusting...as Sikhs we only bow/kneel before one thing ...we are actually not allowed to bow before other false kings/queen's . Here's a solid bloke Benjamin Zephaniah, who makes this point about obe's better than I ever could . If it looks like a spoon, acts like a spoon...it's most probably a spoon f8U8J5UjaAE

  38. I've used it a bit in the past. I think it might be a very subtle relaxant, but it certainly isn't a 'narcotic' in comparison to what we commonly refer to with that label. Interestingly, you can fail opium/heroin tests if you've been on the old khas khas. lol But note that the dried husks of the poppy flower (aka bhukhee) is much more psychoactive/physiologically powerful than the seeds.

  39. So, generally speaking, (and this doesn't negate the good they do) it's an organisation that's subtly rebranded and commercialised the Sikh "message" in a globalist, progressive-friendly manner for... what purpose exactly? Reading between the lines, it seems to be another vehicle for trustees to extract funding and cultivate influential links and relationships for the purposes of external corporate and business interests.

  40. If you put on a turban. You represent the Gurus and the khalsa and should act and behave accordingly. Not pose in pictures looking silly and making funny expressions and acting like a uloo ka pata. A turban is not some fashion accessory for you to try and look cool and prance around looking like a fool or clown. Wake up and smell the instant!

  42. This story should be shared to every sikh and desi female so they can see what kinda evil murderous beasts are laying in wait out there ready to strike if they don't stay clear of dangerous areas and take care of their personal safety. Also its a reminder what the homeless and rough sleepers are capable off. Often we see gullible liberal Sikhs trying to help these guys but they dont realise the danger they are putting our females under as they see us as a soft touch for their sexual assault and other crimes. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/3310790/vadims-ruskuls-murdered-pardeep-kaur-convictions-in-latvia/ http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/cctv-shows-haunting-moment-homeless-10203512
