  1. We keep falling for the same trap each and every time. A Sikh who tries to lift the Panth and Punjab out of his deep and endless abyss we entered into many decades ago will always face more opposition from apnay than even our enemies. All those who are questioning how Amritpal Singh has achieved so much support and a base is Punjab do not understand the power of social media. Social media has caused revolutions in many countries such as the Arab Spring, do these people not know how much social media influences our community in Punjab. The youth these are very engaged with social media and social media has been used to create branches of supporters in many villages and this they are able to mobilise the youth to attend rallies with Amritpal Singh. Simranjit Singh Mann's victory was very much due to the use of social media by our youth. Another reason why Amritpal Singh has captured centre stage is that the Panth and especially the youth have in the last few years become much more grounded in reality and started to cleanse itself of the liberal BS that the likes of Ravi Singh and United Sikhs have bought into Sikhi. He talks unapologetically about how he wants Khalsa Raj just as Hindus openly talk of Hindu Rashtra, the youth wanted a leader who talks in such a manner and not some pyjamay talking constantly about helping others and Sarbat Da Bhalla. The opposition to Amritpal Singh is because he has done more for the Panth in the last few months than all our paper tigers combined in the last three decades. Look at Kuki Gill, he has been badmouthing Amritpal Singh for the last few weeks because since his release in 2009 his achievements for the Panth have been a big fat zero. He keeps harping on about how he sacrificed his career and how he is so highly educated as if no other Kharkoo sacrificed their entire families for the Panth and all he has sacrificed is his career.

  3. Muslims in East Punjab need to be tamed as I have been saying for years. The migrants need to be kicked out of Punjab. A ban on Wahhabi influenced mosques, preachers and sharia panchayats. I wish Malerkotla district status could be undone as well, massive mistake. The new found love with Pakis with the silly naive Sikhs touring you see on youtube is cringy. That is bad and will only lead to problems as you correctly mentioned in your last para. But whether you like it or not, the closeness is already there. What about using the opportunities for furthering panthic causes ? Recovering all other historical Gurdwareh and parchar in Sindh and Punjab to convert Hindus and Christians?

  5. Sikhs didn’t have the same choices in relation to dealing with Muslims in the past. We had always lived under them as a minority until 1947. No matter what an individual Punjabi Muslim may feel towards us, the greater guiding force of Islam won’t be too far to put them back in line. I personally think they are far too shrewd to be ‘used’ by our simpleton leaders. It’s always going to be a net loss game with them. With Hindus, we currently have no choice but to work with them in the same way we worked with the Muslims in the past.

  6. I think Puadh is a British era concept, Punjab south of the Satluj was always Malwa down to where it borders Bangar Desh to the south (Hissar-Hansi-Jind) and Bhattiana (Sirsa -Hanumangarh in Rajasthan) to the south west. Malwa's borders were less defined towards Ambala - Kaithal.

  14. Do you know that Punjabi phrase, "Aakhan nal g'la karniya (Speaking with eyes)"? If you've been around decent, wise black folks you'll understand that they have a radar for detecting bull. They know when they're being made fools of, (or at least earlier generations did). When they see these white and Jewish BLM frauds speaking for supposed black causes by getting them riled up and turning them into targets, switched-on blacks communicate with their eyes with fellow minded people of their race to say, "Can you believe this 5h1t? This whole thing stinks." They know it but for some reason they don't speak up loudly against it. But they definitely know.

  23. that is very true. Parents think we are being ungrateful for being sad, depressed. most Punjabi parents dont want that talk with their children about their feeling and what they want. a common solution Punjabi parents think to resolve depression problems is get their son/daughter married which just makes matter worst. I am thankful my parents don't think like that. another big issue is izzat. Punjabi parents put high expectations on their son/daughter to do well career-wise so they can tell everyone about it. its common for our people to judge you on your job title and compare with others "oh Mr Hayer's son earns 30k a year " ohh that's nothing Mr Bahia daughter earns 40k a year" srs this is why I avoid Indian weddings. this puts pressure and makes you feel worthless because you are on a low salary. I am on £8.20 an hour and it used to bother me alot. but now i don't care I know if i stick to my plan can i reach goals and in any case money is not everything in life (our people seem to chase it alot which can also cause depression )

  24. Mental health issues are a hidden problem in our community.many elders don't understand it and were told in their time just to get on with life. feelings were irrelevant. people in India still live like this. our people need to understand its ok for a man to have feelings, to feel depressed, to be in need of help. I have depression and anxiety issues which come and go but I really want to snap out of it permanently. I have some research, watched some videos about these issues spoken to a few people about it and taken a self-esteem course called NLP . and the information I gained from this has been helped me. we are all imperfect, we have our weakness and strengths, our aim in life is not to be perfect but to improve ourselves as best as we can each day. (self-growth) we must have faith in ourselves and god. in order to progress to the life we want we must first build a solid foundation. that foundation will be who we are as person aka I am passionate, caring , loving, family man, compassionate. we build form them with the thinking we are good enough already instead of the negative thinking we are not enough yet. we must view life inside out and instead of outside in which most people do. we get influenced by media, other people opinions on us we should not let that shape us. only we can shape ourselves and be the change we want to be. its easier said than done thou.

  33. Wonder why Bhen/Maa jokes or profanities are more prevalent in Punjabis but less so for bhraa or Pio, ok more for latter. They are used in common day language on a daily basis, even by Amrtidharis, the gravity if the insult has surely been diluted through frequent use. Just like when gorey use the F word at work, no one bats an eyelid.

  36. This seems like dejavu, I remember seeing a few years ago the exact same thing happened to Bhai Manpreet Singh Kanpuri. He was doing kirtan and was almost attacked by missionaries/kala afghanists because he did Kirtan of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee's Bani. And like this recent video, they also had these militant type women who were acting very aggressive lol It's like a recurring pattern on how they do this. Since they consider Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee as only a mere book, so they don't feel shame in acting like uncivilized wild animal and disrupting the Gurdwara kirtan, katha or Dhadi program. Later they began spreading lies on what really happened that day but Bhai Manpreet Singh Kanpuri and witnesses of their animalistic behavior made a video of their statements which is also available online. It's a disturbing trend of what they are doing. This is no way how a Sikh should behave in front of Guru Sahib. There is always a way of doing things. If you disagree with someone on a religious matter, why not talk in a civilized manner after the Katha? Would they do this if Sri Guru Nanak Dev jee or Guru Gobind Singh Jee was sitting there? Just look at their recent video where they disrupt program of Giani Hari Singh Randhawa in the video posted by OP. The missionaries come there fully prepared for a physical fight. Notice how the women and men have a very blank and demonic look in their eyes.

  38. the canadians are a lot more into being western and modern than Uk sikhs , my cousins there are all monney, sharab drinkers , into showing off wealth/position more than prayer etc the UK cousins may be monney but don't drink or eat maas they believe in SIkhi as Guru ji taught us my Canadian relative are open in their disdain of the dharam and even have spouted off about Guru Nanak Dev ji and Amritdharis . The Missionaries appeal to their modern thinking ...i.e. show us the proof then we will believe else shut up. Amritshakan di ki laudd aa sikhi should be evolved ...naam jappna s just tautha ruttna no point .

  39. People certainly drink less and more sensibly. I also remember the old days, especially weddings in the Midlands. Guys dranks entire bottles of spirits, it's not even funny thinking about it. The quantities were horrendous! Trends and patterns have changed, for the better. But one thing I remember for sure, it was that weddings in the Midlands were on a whole other level compared to London.

  40. Thats exactly my point here zoltan. I'm sick to death of being taken for a ride by these 'stars'. They're taking us all as gullible fools. Each month I'll read an interview in the UK media in which Tigerstyle makes reference to the Sikh struggle against India. Then the next month I find Tigerstyle being interviewed in Bombay where they're recording bollywood tracks....in these interviews they profess their love of India. They're all playing us for fools. They go where the money is. They say the things the locals wanna hear....and they wear the things the locals want them to wear purely for the end goal of money. Jazzy B is not the fool for milking us in that way. We're the fools for letting him. I mean seriously, exactly 3 weeks ago Hard Kaur made some disgusting remarks about Guru Gobind Singh ji. Jazzy B knows that, and yet Guru Gobind Singh ji means so little to him that he'd rather kiss the insulter than slap her.

  43. Sikh players wearing turban would now be accommodated on the soccer pitch after Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) directed to soccer associations and referees across the country that Sikh players who wear the turban can be accommodated on the soccer pitch. While hailing the decision World Sikh Organization (WSO) President Prem Singh Vinning told TOI on Tuesday, "The accommodation of the turban already takes place not just across Canada but across the world. There is no reason why the turban can't be accommodated. We're glad the CSA has clarified the issue for referees and has hopefully resolved this matter for good." World Sikh Youth Association (WSYA)

Can anyone advise me on places to visit and also places that I should stay clear of??? I’m coming from London and heard some areas are quite bad up there. My Interests include. historical Monuments, places of interest, scenic places with good views ie country side and Asian shopping stores. I would also like to visit the main temple in Birmingham. But I’m not sure where it’s located?? Thanks J Singh
