As the title goes has anyone actually read the Quran here? I've seen quite alot of people debating about various quotes from it but all of them seem to be from rather biased websites, its interesting how so many people just throw these quotes out but im genuinely curious if anyone has read any portion of it or even any of the Hadiths.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. I was wondering if anyone can help me, I'm married and am expecting our first babies in October, we're having twins, a boy and a girl. I've been raised as a Sikh but unfortunately am not in touch with any of the older members of my family anymore. Is "Sikhni" an appropriate word to refer to Sikh girls or is it a slur as I've only heard non-Sikhs using Sikhni.

I have been using head and shoulders for as long as I can remember. I have never had any issues with it. It completely sorts out the itchy scalp and dandruff. That all changed about 3 months ago when for some reason head and shoulders changed their formula. They said that the new forumula is better and more advanced. What a load of bullsh1te. The new formula is made my scalp worse and is alot worse then the old bottle. Anyone notice with their new version bottle. Not sure why they had to go change something that worked.

I know sikhi isn’t a top, which I can take off and put it back on later. I don’t mean to offend anybody! I took Amrit on my 14th birthday and tbh life before that was amazing. (Btw I am 17 now) I loved the attention off girls and family members, friends etc telling me that me and my older brother are very good looking. vjkk vjkf! Sangat ji, Das is the only one in his family with a beard. And i don't know how to take care of it. It's pretty wild, the hairs are about two inches long but are very curly so they only stick out about one inch. Besides tying a taati, what can i do to take care of my beard? Even when i comb it, it doesn't really do much. and i'm very hesitant to put oil on it b/c i don't wanna break out in pimples... any advice?

I have a question. My friend Sonu, has been studying for 4 yrs in London. She, has been dating a guy who is a complete amritdhari sikh. Sonu began to spend more and more time with him. She became so interested in Sikhi, she took amrit herself last yr. Sooon afer both of them had finished their University, he went on to further more his studies but she went back home. They stayed in touch thru phone, E-mail/msn... etc. Sooon after they both told they're parents they had met someone... etc... and want to get married. Her parents agreed. But his said no, because her family wasnt amritdhari, and they cut their hair .. eat meat.. etc.. Whats ur opinion on this.. Wjkk wjkf

being a senior in a public high school, i have never gone to a high school dance.. and everyone is telling me to but I don't know if I would feel comfortable there or even if I would be allowed. Do you think it is wrong to go to these kinds of things?

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
