"In Putran ke sis par // diye sut chaar Chaar mooye to kia hua jeevat kayee hazar" Does anyone know where the above is from? And if so, can they provide the full context of it? I tried searching for it, but no luck, not sure if its actual bani, or just a poem, or from a rehatnama, much appreciated. Thanks!

ਬਾਬਾ ਆਦਮ ਕਉ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਦਰਿ ਦਿਖਾਈ ॥ He (God) bestowed His Grace on Adam, the father of mankind, ਉਨਿ ਭੀ ਭਿਸਤਿ ਘਨੇਰੀ ਪਾਈ ॥੨॥ who then lived in paradise for a long time. ||2|| (Guru Granth Sahib : 1161) I thought it was the belief of only the Abrahamic religions , but maybe I was wrong ?

I have heard from many katha Vachakas that There is no admission to Sachkhand without being Amritdhari. Like we heard the Sakhi of Bhai Nand lal and Guru Gobind Singh ji. My main question is does that mean that BrahamGyanis are only in Sikh religion and not in any other religion. What about those people who are true hindu or true muslims and they recite their Gods name all day and night. Won't they go to sachkhand??

I would like to see reference from Gurbani that there are three layers of Amrit? In fact, Amrit is one as Gurbani says, “Nanak Amrit Ek Hai..” and “Amrit Peeya Satgur Deeya”. Khanday Ki Pahul is a way of initiation and obtaining naam. Once received Sikh will be on the path to sachkhand. No one can be a Sikh of Guru Sahib without taking Amrit and keeping rehat. Charan Pahul was changed to Khanday Ki Pahul after which no other form of initiation existed. Kirpan Amrit is and was never used as a way of initiation. It is used for birth sanskar only. All Bhagats were Sikhs of Guru Sahib. This discussion has taken place so do a search before you start this debate. Do you…

I have always wonderes as to why have i never seen any woman granthies at Darbar Sahib . Then i came to know that they are simple not allowed to be . Given the great virtues of equality our Gurus gave bestowed upon us, i fail to understand why there is this discrimination at our most important Gurudwara . Why doesn't anyone do something about this?????????

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਿਹ ਜੀ Yesterday I had a discussion with a friend about Baoli Sahib which is in Goindwal Sahib. My friend visit the Gurdwara this year and was shocked that people believe in that, that if you do the 84 Steps your since get erased. As my friend said it's all Brahmanwaad. I visited the Gurdwara a few years ago. But on that time I didn't have any knowledge abt that place. My friend is mostly against things like that it's all Brahmanwaad. I try to think positive and say look the people are doing Japji Sahib and taking a bath to get a fresh mind. And it's defnetly not easy to do 84 Japji Sahibs. I read today this articel from a Singhni w…

I was surprised by this .... How many sangats know about this ? Bhai Gurdas ji Vaar : In Satyug, Vishnu in the form of Vasudev is said to have incarnated and 'V' Of Vahiguru reminds of Vishnu. The true Guru of Dvapar is said to be Harikrsna and 'H' of Vahiguru reminds of Hari. In the the Treta was Ram and 'R' of Vahiguru tells that rembering Ram will produce joy and happiness. In Kalijug, Gobind is in the form of Nanak and 'G' of Vahiguru gets Govind recited. The recitations o f all the four ages subsume in Panchayan i.e. in the soul of the common man. When joining four letters Vahiguru is remembered, The jiv merges again in its origin. VaHeGuRu ( Vishnu , hari ,…

I have some questions about shaheedi degh. Is it true that according to puratan maryada, only 5 leaves of cannabis are added ? Secondly, is there some standard of the minimum size of bata, other ingredients because if there is a small bata, even 5 leaves can lead to intoxication. BAsically, in short, how to prepare non-intoxicating shaheedi degh for a person who has never had it earlier ? Is there some place/chauuni where non-intoxicating shaheedi degh is prepared on regular occasions ?????? Thanks
