Main Points: "No mechanical repition of Naam" Association and partnership with missionary Harjinder Sabhra and associates No clear answer on Dasam Granth, putting doubt in Sangat's minds We are all brothers and sisters, no such thing as Mahapurkh or enlightened ones No clear answer on meat, putting doubt in Sangat's minds. Harjinder Sabhra: "Where we go as humans, we have to adjust our cuisine and life accordingly." <<< If that is the case, then that means Sikhi will just merge into other religions and cultures and there is no need for Sikh Rehat and Dastaar and Kes, sit on chairs and tables in langar for everyone (not just seniors/disabled) etc......Putting do…

In 1881, British Newspapers compared many great generals of the past and came with the following conclusion: "Some people might think that Napoleon was a great General. Some might name Marshall Hendenburgh, Lord Kitchener, General Karobzey or Duke of Wellington etc. And some going further might say Halaku Khan, Genghis Khan, Changez Khan, Richard or Allaudin etc. But let me tell you that in the North of India a General of the name of Hari Singh Nalwa of the Sikhs prevailed. Had he lived longer and had the sources and artillery of the British, he would have conquered most of Asia and Europe…." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hari_Singh_Nalwa wow

" 2. Have I really been disowned by Nihang groups in India? I recently came across a letter published on the internet alleging mischief on my part and purporting to be signed by various heads of Nihang groups to which I am affiliated by tradition. Alerted by the absence of letterheads or dates, and personally having met several of the supposed signatories within the past year, I contacted them. They assured me that the letter was a forgery and that the individuals involved in producing this fake document had been identified. In fact, I was told that if they were ever spotted in any Nihang encampment in India in the future, they would be dealt with harshly, using the tr…

I'll try to keep this article as short as possible Dr Zakir Naik is an islamic 'scholar' born in mumbai (india). He heads the Islamic Research Foundation, based in Mumbai. He is world renowned among muslims for his debating skills especially by his quality of providing random references from memorised verses from various holy books. Muslims highly respect him coz they believe he is doing a lot for spreading islam and has converted lots of people by holding massive seminars and lecturing them....and i admit he is really a good speaker (though he stammers while talking in daily life but not on stages). I used to watch zakir naik's seminars on t.v along with my muslim mates …

In this debate which was suppose to be about farmer protests in Delhi this journalist who is a known liberal Hindu of Punjabi background exposes her anti Sikh sentiments. Her name is Barkha Dutt. Just like other liberal Hindus like Shekhar Gupta who displays his genocidal pulse by praising mass murderers like KPS Gill and Gen Brar, she also insists that Deep Sidhu must call Sant Bhindrawale a terrorist in order for her to carry on this conversation. She repeatedly cuts him off, doesn't even allow him to finish his point. While most of us associate only right wing RSS type Hindus to be anti Sikh but these far left liberal Hindus are even worse in some aspects. They (libera…

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa Vaheguru ji ki fateh Sangat Ji, a new initiative has been launched by singhs and singhnia in memory of the 25th anniversary of the 1984 atrocities. We are collectively praying to complete 1 MILLION chaupai sahibs by June 2009. We cannot do this without the help of every single brother, sister, mother and father in the panth getting invovled. Please can we all play our part, for OUR panth and do as many chaupai sahibs as we can. Please see the website; www.chaupaisahib.org for more details. We are asking that people email us how many paath you have completed on info@chaupaisahib.org on a weekly/fortnightly basis so that we can keep updating the to…

A few interesting observations, this was taken from a rightwing hindu blog page. Typical Prat ! Lets see if you spot the typical hindu mentality that got me vexed ! Indira Gandhi s Muslim Roots By: The Truth Detector In order to commence the story of Indira Priyadarshini Nehru, the so called daughter of the philandering Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru (Nehr means nullah or a large drain, in Persian), let us quote from K.N. Rao's THE NEHRU DYNASTY, page 20. There he writes - "All biographies of Nehru by the dynasty-worshippers fall into a pre-conceived pattern, which is on the following lines: 1. Skip the early years of Nehru, making no reference to the house he w…

Sangat Ji, I need your assistance. I'm a scientist by nature and as such do not readily accept the notion of Spirits and Evil Spirits and Curses. However, I have spoken to some Amritdharis who vehemently belive in spirits and say their relatives are cursed or have been cursed. They also have said they have 'cured' people by carrying our a Jap of Guru Nanaks', and have seen spirits leaving the bodies of these people. I would like to know if, within Sikhism, we accept evil spirits exist and can take over people. I would also like to know if we belive in curses and that people are able to curse us. I'm looking for quotes from GGSJ as opposed to your viewpoints because i…
