WJKK WJKF Quick question, A friend of mine told me that in the Dhasam Granth Sahib it says that we will get Khalistan after the fourth attack on Sri Haramdir Sahib. Is this true? I haven't been able to find anything to prove this. Thanks, WJKK WJKF

I came across this website which states that Sikh Gurus believe in Vedas. I cannot find the interpretations of the shabads in relation to it's comments. http://agniveer.com/sikh-gurus-and-vedas/ On the other hand I came across this booklet which says Sikh Gurus did not believe in Vedas. http://agniveer.com/sikh-gurus-and-vedas/ Can anyone explain what Guru Sahibaans take on Vedas was and why there are pro-Veda shabds and anti-Veda shabds in Gurbani? And how would you refute someone saying Sikh is a branch of Vedic dharam?

1. Our Sukhsam sirar ( 2nd astral layer of body) is it jarr(void/cannot give energy on its own to itself) or chaitan (supported by atma) ? - Sant ji said, sukhsam sirar is also jarr along with panj tats/five elements, karan sirar(3rd layer of body) as well as maya. For example: All bulbs are dead without electric current, take all the layers of our body, maya as bulbs, an electric current being atma. Without atma, its all dead(jar). Sukhsam sirar is just subtle form of five elements we are made of- sky, air, fire, water, earth. And 3rd layer-Karan Sirar is even more subtle form of sukhasam sirar(2nd layer). 2. Shabad Guru talks about anand/paramanad/vismaad avastha, ar…

Last year we had a very robust discussion here about the hollowness of some Sikhs who put Christmas trees in their houses. Lot of us learnt from that discussion and agreed to stop following this mindless ritual at their houses. I hope this trend is followed by more and more Sikhs all over the world. Like Johny explained clearly, "It is not befitting of a Sikh of the Guru to put up a Christmas tree in his/her house. Firstly we are not Christians that we need to celebrate this holyday of Yasoo Masee. Secondly if your excuse is that you are celebrating it because it is a European pagan holyday, then please do your self a favour and look at yourself in the mirr…

I don’t know how many of you have heard of Jogi Allah Yaar Khan who wrote so much about Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He just loved Guru Ji and with love wrote so much about Guru Ji that Muslims became very jealous and kicked him out. He was called “kafir” by Muslims and Muslims did not let him enter Moseque for 30 years. When he got old, Qazi went to his house and says to him, “Jogia, come with me and ask for forgiveness. You have grown old and die as a true Muslim.” Allah Yaar Khan says, “I have done nothing wrong. What I wrote about Guru Ji is the truth and I will not go back.” Hearing this Qazi gets mad and says, “Then you wanna die as a kafir?” Yaar khan says, “I am kafir f…

Hari Singh Randhawa in the above video claims that Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji Maharaj started the udasis Panth and it was not Sri Chand. Today many Sikhs have jumped on this bandwagon and have started saying the same without listening to Katha of Satguru Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj or reading Gurbani or reading Bhai Gurdas Ji's Vaars. First Hari Singh Randhawa says this tuk to back up his theory that Satguru started Udasis: gur bcnI bwhir Gir eyko nwnku BieAw audwsI ]5]11] gur bachanee baahar ghar eaeko naanak bhaeiaa oudhaasee ||5||11|| According to the Word of the Guru's Teachings, what is outside is the same as what is inside the home of the self. Nanak has b…

Guru fateh. Recently I had an argument with my friends on the question of miracles in sikhism. We all know that Sikhism does not approve of miracles. But I am having a few doubts on these questions, please help to clarify... Guru Nanak Dev Ji Saheb going to mecca and the mecca turning towards his feet. Guru Nanak Dev Ji Saheb stopping the rock that Wali Kandhari pushed on him, his hand print still remains on the rock. Guru Gobind Singh Ji removing fresh water with his arrow at a gurudwara somewhere in Nanded (Sorry forgot the name of the Gurudwara) Guru Ji turning the bitter 'rithas' sweet for Bhai Mardana Ji. Bhagat Namdev Ji turning the mandir after pundits refu…
