Vaheguroo Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguroo Ji Ki Fateh Keeping in line with the rules of the forum. We are re-posting this message and keeping personal identities as gupt as possible but at the same time trying to reach to sangat who may have been effected or involved with a certain amritdhari couple who are based in the midlands around the Sandwell and Dudley area involved in anti-gurmat practises. An investigation is being launched and we aim to provide a gupt service for individuals affected. Were you told by the bibi that she was Mata Bhag Kaur re-incarnated? Were you told that your soul was a famous gursikh from sikh history (Baba Deep Singh, Bhai Kanaiya Ji) in a past li…

I was searching Muslim and Sikh realations when I came upon this link. http://www.islamawareness.net/Sikhism/convince.html http://www.islamonline.net/servlet/Satelli.../AskAboutIslamE Its so amazing how some stupid Muslims are trying their best to try and bend the Sikh Faith to support their beleifs and ideologys. This whole thing was actually a question by a Muslim to another Muslim asking how to convince a Sikh to join Islam. These "true" Muslims think of us all as Kafirs and their sole mindset is to prove that every other religion in the world is tottaly wrong and makes no sense. They even spread the ways to convince people of other Religions that what they are fo…

Dear Sangat, I havent posted on this site for some time now, although I do visit it on a regular basis I wanted to ask, how many Gursikh weddings have you been to? Also, what colours have you seen the Singh and Singhni wear? What colour (to the Gursikhs...) do you prefer and WANT to wear on your wedding? I've been to like 2 Gursikh weddings: 1) First wedding- Singh was wearing cream kurta pajamaa, cream dastaar with orange  on the top part of his dastaar...Singhni wearing very light pink suit (mainly because there were hardly any Gursikhs on the Singh's side...although from a very strong sikhi background), and a white keski. 2) Second wedding- Sing…

In one of the 52 commandments Guru Gobind Singh Ji left for the Sikhs he stated that a daughter of the Sikhs should only have her hand in marriage given to another Sikh family. But he did not say the same for Sikh sons for them only given to Sikhs for marriage. Why was this? This question is mainly for the liberal lefties to ponder on. Because to majority of learned and right thinking Sikhs he is clearly showing us how there is a difference between the genders when it comes to procreation and relationships. Sikh Men are like rocks in the ground they will usually stick to their reiligion. And Guru Ji knows the condition of men of all backgrounds are that they ar…

American Sikhs: For those of you who have been watching the news recently, you will know of many of the 2016 Presidential candidates. I have a two questions: 1. Which political party do you feel is more according to Sikh belief and 2. Which candidates or candidates have you narrowed you choices to so far. I am interested to see who Sikhs seem to favor the most. My background is Republican, but I do not know who is a good candidate according to gurmat. Thanks!

WELL WELL WELL, narindra modi is coming to the uk, out of 300 or so uk gurdwaras, 7 gurdwaras have found it ok to welcome this man into this country with open arms. Also look who else is welcoming this questionable man, its none other than the complete coconut organisation, city "sikhs". This coconut organisation thought they wud b real clever by puttin this up and their support up for modi on their facebook page by annoucing their alliance with modi. They then unexpectedly took that post down, after gettin dogs abuse from all of the sikh community, and rightly so. https://www.facebook.com/SikhYouthBirmingham/photos/a.914959055198925.1073741829.914482778579886/1137863969…

Building Begampura: Confronting Caste June 14, 2012by Jodha Source: thelangarhall.com Caste is one of those dark secrets in our community. Some defend it as “culture”, others downplay its discriminatory effects, and some go even as far as to blame the victims of the violence itself. Many have documented the ongoing apartheid that exists in our villages and in our minds Some scholars have recently looked at the issue in light of the commitment to equality bequeathed by our Gurus, but the continued existence of discriminatory practices by many Sikhs. Professor Natasha Behl sheds some light on this topic in her dissertation, titled “The Politics of Equality: Caste an…

Why do you believe Snatam Kaur of 3HO, NOW has to make a video of trying to convince everyone that she is a Sikh? Seems pointless right!!! Shouldn't her actions speak for whether she is a Sikh or not?
