Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! I am getting really mad at the Indian govmnt after seeing so many sites showing crime against us. Why, when op bluestar occured, did not more Sikhs leave the pinds and retaliate??? At my school, a Hindu called me a "jew" He said Sikhs were like Jews, no one likes them. Of cource i ignored him but eventually kicked his sorry @$$ so hard he regrets it. :TH: Why did not all the Sikhs stay more loyal?? If i were there i would have fought. Still, today, EDITED Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! I want to be like my uncle, he is a extreme Sikh who will defend his religion at all costs. Please hel…

Wow, yes the quote did change when I got to 400. so at the time I write this post I'm at 400 posts and my gurbani quote has changed to "Mere Mun Prem Lago Har Theer" This shabad puts me in a feeling of longing for guru jee. I had the honour of singing this shabad in keertan at saadh sangat. It was a wonderful experience. It was one of the first shabads I sang. It is a beautiful shabad. I will post my interpretation of all of this shabad below... if anybody wishes to add please feel free ... if anybody wants to make a post about their "rank" of gurbani quote please do so and let's start learning  please forgive my mistakes vwihgurU jI kw Kwlsw! vwihgurU jI…

Recently there was a big discussion on Dasam Granth and its authority. Shortly after that I was sent this Sakhi by a veer; which I'm attaching. If you find it difficult to read it - just copy the text into a word document, and it'll become easier to read it THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO DISCUSS DASAM GRANTH. I only want to share this sakhi; in order to get the sangats opinion on the sakhi. Also for kids under 14 - please cover your eyes with your hands while reading the file :D I personally find a few weaknesses, as to why I doubt it's real. 1 - Due to the lacks shown in Guru Sahib (indicates he wasn't all knowing - i.e didn't know what he was getting in to 2- Due to…

Bani referes to Mind at at many places. I have following questions that the honorable members may like to advise on. 1.What exactly is this mind? 2.Is it tangible or intangible? 3.What happens to mind when we die? 4.What is its seat in our body or otherwise.? 5.How Simran goes with us in the next life? It should be thru. the mind or the soul? 6.Does mind also die with the physical death? 7. Are we born with the mind that we leave behind after the death? Kindly support your answers with bani's quote and I shall be highly oblidged. Regards to all.

I intend to start this thread where I shall be posting the doubts that I have regarding various tuks and lines of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. You may as well. But all of us are required to number the lines so that these can be properly referred to.There may not be any occassion when more than one doubt should be discussed. Like if I post this doubt today from jap ji sahib ji and mark it as doubt no.1. The one who replies should clearly state that the answer is to doubt no.1.If someone also wants to post his doubt, he should state this and take the permission of the previous doubt holder so that there is no confusion amongst those who are simply posting their doubts. I h…

Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa Waheguru Jee Kee Fateh i know it is important to keep kesh for identity reasons. but i was wondering if any one can explain the reason for keeping all kesh as if u kept ur kesh on ur head only and wore ur keskhi this would still give u the identity so what is the significance of keeing all kesh ?

The top ten reasons for waking up at amrit vela: 10. You can use up all the hot water you want. 9. You have more time to do other things during the day. 8. You get the best feeling right after you finish. 7. One day of nitnem at amritvela will keep you in chardi kala for the rest of the week. 6. Others in your household will be inspired to do the same 5. You will have more time to do nitnem instead of rushing it to get to work/school in time. 4. Naam is to a Sikh as fuel is to a car. Naam at amritvela is like premium 3. You will not be wasting the night (and your life) away by sleeping for too long (literally and figuratively speaking) 2. Your concentration is…
