I been viewing a few clips of jagraj singh from basics of sikhi and he mentions in a few videos that Guru Nanak was God? When he debates muslims, which I believe to be a fundamental mistake. Also in my view it is a totally wrong approach to take with a muslim cos they automatically get disinterested when someone is associating God with "partners" as it is the biggest sin in islam according to them its called "shirk". From my understanding of gurbani and sikh scriptures Guru Nanak Dev Ji was not God and he even states he is a servant / slave of God and it is God whom he worships and sings his glory of. So why is Jagraj mentioning that Guru Ji was God? It totally contradi…

I have noticed that of all the South Asian communities in the UK The Sikhs are one of the most whitified communities. Many of the girls think they are some rock punk chicks so to speak and the boys think they are they are some cockney geezers. init mate! London Town! lolThey even act white or even black if you come from the endz. But on a serious note why do many Sikhs act white. They have even changed their names to English names . Are Sikhs losing their identity, religion and culture? Why cant Sikhs just be Sikhs? I think alot of this is down to the mass media ie telvision, music, popular culture which is corrupting the young minds of Sikhs and making them confus…

Built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the gurdwara holds as much significance for Sikhs as Amritsar's Golden temple. Nanded's Sachkhand gurdwara holds special significance for the Sikh community as this is the place where Guru Gobind Singh first put forth the Guru ki gaddi or the Granth Sahib as the holy book of worship. The akhandpaaths (religious scriptures) have echoed in its corridors for over three centuries now and devotees with a special wish offer their prayers via…

It seems that the anti dasam granth brigade are deploying new tactics to sideline the bani of guru gobind singh ji. Now while kind of accepting the bani they had decided to ban (lol) the parkash of dasam granth sahib ji next to guru granth sahib ji. There reason for this is that since guru granth sahib ji is the guru no other granth should be parkash or even given the same satkar. Some singhs have argued that this has happened historically. Well this has happened historically right up to the present date. If anyone can point out a single man out of these singh sahibs or jathedhars who have done more for the panth and more to highlight satkar of guru granth sahib ji then …

There seems to be no limit of bezthi that some of these ugly slaggy western born punjabi girls of Sikh heritage are willing to do to their parents and religion. "husband and wife housemates Imran and Sukhvinder Javeed, a pair of entrepreneurs who met at school when they were just eight years old. Sukhvinder was raised in a strict Sikh family, Imran in a strict Muslim family, meaning their relationship was frowned upon and they had to sneak out at night to meet." http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2017-06-02/an-ex-on-the-beach-star-two-sisters-a-husband-and-wife-and-louie-spences-nephew-among-the-new-big-brother-housemates There was a thread a…

The British and Sikhs have a long history together. British historians studying Sikhi and writing it in their books. The 2 Anglo-Sikh wars and annexation of Punjab. And the prince Dalip Singh sent to Britain. They recruited Sikhs in both world wars. Mass Sikh migration in the 60s and 70s. Facing a lot of racism but now are accepted all over. A strong 500,000 community. Now we are shown across the media. This is all thanks to the Queen unlike the government.

I was once talking to some one about Gay people being Bishop so on, I said that this would not be allowed in Sikhi and that a Gay person can't been some one that follows God. The person said I am wrong because people who are Gay have a right to be Bishop and pray to God because thats the way god made them, and that the religion should change for Gay people. I said that Sikhi would never change because God made man and women and thats the way it should be. Then he said say in a 100 years time people have changed so they don't need a man or women to make a baby, and they can make babies them self would that person be allowed to become a Sikh then. What do you guys think

okay, elections are coming up. This is the first time in my life I am gonna vote. I am still doing some research and wanna make sure I vote for the right guy. I want sangat's views on it. who would you vote for? bush or kerry and please don't turn this into a debate. just state a name and maybe few reasons to help me out. Sikhs might not get anything out of it but which guy would be better for america - jobs, economy, freedom etc. I am more toward kerry right now. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
